Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often about how Britonferry works, what it costs, and how your portfolio is managed day to day.

What exactly does Britonferry do?

Britonferry uses an adaptive AI engine to continuously review your portfolio allocation against your stated risk tolerance and goals, then rebalances positions automatically when market conditions shift. You set the parameters; the system handles ongoing oversight so you don't need to monitor markets weekly.

Do I need investing experience to use this?

No. The onboarding process asks about your goals, time horizon, and comfort with risk, then translates those answers into a managed strategy. You can adjust settings at any time, but no prior trading experience is required to get started.

How is this different from a traditional robo-advisor?

Most robo-advisors rebalance on a fixed schedule, such as quarterly. Britonferry's engine evaluates conditions continuously and adjusts allocations when its models detect meaningful drift or risk changes, rather than waiting for a calendar date.

Can I set my own risk limits?

Yes. During setup you define a risk ceiling and target allocation ranges. The AI operates within those boundaries and will not move your portfolio outside the limits you've approved without your confirmation.

How often does the portfolio actually change?

This varies by account and market conditions. Some periods see no changes at all if allocations stay within target ranges; more volatile periods may trigger several smaller adjustments. You can review a full history of every change inside your account.

What fees does Britonferry charge?

Pricing details are presented during onboarding before you commit to anything, and are specific to the account type and balance you select. We don't publish a single blanket rate here because it depends on your configuration.

Is my capital safe from loss?

No investment platform can eliminate risk, and Britonferry is no exception. Automated management is designed to help control and monitor risk relative to the settings you choose, but your capital remains subject to market movements and can lose value.

Can I withdraw or pause at any time?

You retain control of your account and can pause automated adjustments or initiate a withdrawal through your dashboard. Processing times depend on your account provider and the assets held at the time of the request.

How is my data and account information protected?

We apply layered account security and data-handling practices appropriate to a financial platform. For full details on how information is collected, stored, and used, please see our Privacy Policy.

What happens if the AI makes a decision I disagree with?

Every adjustment is logged and visible in your account history, and you can review the reasoning behind each change. If you'd like to override a setting or tighten your risk parameters going forward, you can do so at any time from your dashboard.

Do you offer support if I have questions about my account?

Yes. You can reach our team through the contact page with questions about your specific account, settings, or how a particular adjustment was made.

Is Britonferry suitable for short-term trading?

No. The platform is built around ongoing, goal-based portfolio management rather than short-term or speculative trading. If your objective is frequent active trading, this may not be the right fit.
